Electric blinds repairs and maintenance – reactive or planned
If you have problems with your electric blinds, you are very close to a smooth repair service from BrokenBlinds. If we have enough information regarding the project (pictures, description of the problem, branded products) and the issue is of a low complexity or a very common one, based on you request we can, by return, send you a quote for repairs, on-site or involving collection-delivery.
If it’s unclear what the problem is (the “it doesn’t work scenario“) the motorised blinds are lacking logos of manufacturer or the project is a medium to high complexity or size, we offer a site survey and fault finding. We come and test the blinds, part by part, asses the problem and if possible rectify it on the spot (usually the motors or controls have lost their settings or have a power interruption that wipes settings or signals – synchronization).
If parts need replacing or the blinds need a more complex repair, we then quote for further repairs. Almost 65% of the small – medium projects are solved on the first visit, with the rest of 35 on a second visit, when the right parts and motors have been identified.
ON-SITE REPAIRS
Most of the repairs and upgrades can be done on site, in flexible hours including weekends, nights and bank holidays. The ones that require a more complex work are taken down and brought into our factory, repaired and brought back to be reinstalled and re-programmed.

Electric roller blinds repairs and VALETING
Most of the electric blinds in the uk have a Somfy, Silent Gliss ( elero ) or Dunken Motor installed and are based on a Warema, Isotra or HD system. We usually have in stock most of the motors and parts, and if we don t we can have them delivered in as little as 48 hrs, subject to availability from manufacturer.

Motorised venetian blinds are ultrasonically cleaned just as manual ones. We remove the motors, lock the mechanism, clean and check, refit the motor and re-programme. Ready to go back onto their designated window.
